Our Day Program provides structured, individualized support for children, youth, and adults who benefit from extra guidance with routines, social development, and practical skill-building. Support is offered one-on-one or in small groups, depending on each individual’s behavioural and developmental needs.
We focus on helping participants build everyday life-skills, strengthen social interactions, and develop strategies they can use at home, at school, and in the community. Staff provide calm, consistent guidance, hands-on learning, and clear expectations to support meaningful progress. Activities often include games, crafts, and recreational play that encourage learning through engagement and connection.
Social and emotional regulation: co-regulation, identifying emotions, managing responses, coping strategies
Daily living skills: hygiene routines, organization, basic chores, simple meal preparation, following expectations
Community engagement and recreation: safe community outings, group activities, understanding community norms
Communication and relationship-building: practicing conversation skills, cooperation, turn-taking, and positive interactions
Problem-solving and flexible thinking: managing challenges, adapting to changes, using appropriate strategies
Routines and transitions: following schedules, moving between activities with support, building independence in daily structure
The goal of our Day Program is to help children and youth develop the practical and social–emotional skills they need for everyday success—while ensuring they feel supported, capable, and confident in any environment.
